Abstract Semicircle No. 1 Stained Glass Panel
This half circle started as scraps. Many of the pieces are offcuts saved from other panels, and I wanted to see what those colors would do side by side, held inside one simple shape.
It’s 18.5 inches wide and 9.25 inches tall, made from Bullseye glass with shining silver solder lines. It has a warmer, browner palette than its counterpart, which I made at the same time, and it glows beautifully in a sunny window.
It sold in 2022 and now hangs in a collector’s window. Its twin, Abstract Semicircle No. 2, still hangs in my studio window. I couldn’t part ways with it.
You can see more of my work on the stained glass panels page. New panels go to my email list first. If you’d like to see the next one before anyone else, join the list.
