Abstract glass mosaic wall art by Ann Weinheimer hanging beside a window

Glass Mosaic Wall Art

My mosaics start the way most of my work does, with something remembered. A shape from a place I’ve been, the color of a certain afternoon, a flower in the garden. I cut and break sheets of glass into hundreds of small pieces, then set them back together by hand, one at a time.

Many of the abstracts are made from offcuts saved from my stained glass and fused glass work, so the scraps from one piece become the start of the next.

Each mosaic is one of a kind and made to hang as wall art, in a hallway, a kitchen, or the spot in your home that catches bright light. Every piece is made in my studio in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.

New mosaics are released a few times a year, and my email list sees them first. I also take a small number of commissions if you have a place or memory you’d like made in glass. Read my story.
