The Flower Mosaic Set

There’s a quilter in my family, and this set started with quilt blocks: the way a quilt takes something loose, like a flower, and fits it into a geometric square.

Each of the four panels is 8 by 8 inches, mounted on wood, with one flower made from art glass. The white tile around each flower works like the sashing between quilt blocks. It holds the flower in its square, keeps the piece clean and modern, and makes the colors pop. The four were made to hang together as one piece.

The set went home with a collector. Its smaller cousin is the Flower Glass Mosaic.

You can see more of my work on the glass mosaic wall art page. New mosaics go to my email list first. If you’d like to see the next one before anyone else, join the list.
