The Blue Vase Stained Glass Panel
My neighbors moved to New Zealand in 2026, and this panel went with them.
Living next door, they saw a lot of my work before anyone else did. Over the years they caught glimpses of pieces in progress and watched me grow into new techniques. They loved this one, so when it was time to say goodbye, it felt right to send it with them as a thank-you.
The Blue Vase follows a familiar format, based on a painting I made about a decade ago: a bright array of flowers above a vase. The vase itself is fused glass, which gives it texture, depth and a blue glow I couldn’t get from flat sheet glass alone. The panel is 12 by 10.5 inches.
You can see more of my work on the stained glass panels page. New panels go to my email list first. If you’d like to see the next one before anyone else, join the list.
