The Red Arch Flower Stained Glass Panel
Some pieces I can’t let go of, and this is one of them. This Red Arch Flower hangs in my kitchen window at home.
This one started with an idea about color. An intense red arch surrounds the flower and the sky and locks them in. The blues of the sky are transparent, so the light comes straight through, while the red around them is opaque. In a window, the sky gives you a glimpse outside while the arch holds its solid, bold red.
The panel is 11 by 10 inches. It isn’t for sale, but if you’d like something like it for your own window, I take a small number of commissions each year.
You can see more of my work on the stained glass panels page. New panels go to my email list first. If you’d like to see the next one before anyone else, join the list.
