The Teardrop Vase Watercolor Painting
The vase is a shape I made up for the glass: a teardrop. Flowers so often show up in sad moments, so I gave them a teardrop to sit in, and then hid it under pretty, bright colors.
This watercolor is a painting of my Orange Teardrop Vase stained glass panel. I loved how the panel turned out, so I painted it after it was finished, as a more affordable way to have it.
The original painting is still with me. It is available as a framed art print, and the stained glass panel is still available in the store.
New work goes to my email list first. If you'd like to see the next piece before anyone else, join the list.
